Kurze Grzędy Nature Reserve (Kaszb. Kùrzé Grzãdë) - a peat and fauna nature reserve in the Kashubian Lake District (created in 1957, with an area of ​​170.7 ha in the Kaszubski Landscape Park) in the Mirachów Forest Complex. The reserve covers Lake Wielkie, three smaller dystrophic lakes, extensive high peat bog and surrounding forests (swamp forest, swamp birch, oak and beech forests, and also sour beech). The marsh woods of the reserve were the last place of capercaillie in Pomerania, which, however, is now extinct. There are sites of numerous plant species to be protected (among others round-leaved sundew and prongle). The reserve is a refuge for birds of prey (sparrowhawk, buzzard, osprey and goshawk) and also a breeding place for the crane. The nearest towns are Bącz and Bącka Huta. The reserve is included in the Natura 2000 network.
