Open-air museum of the type located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Kościerzyna poviat, in the Wdzydze Landscape Park, in the southwestern part of the town of Wdzydze Kiszewskie on the shores of Lake Gółń. His collections gather over 50 objects of folk architecture from the area of ​​Kashubia and Kociewie. The open-air museum area covers 22 ha. It was divided into six sectors, which correspond to five areas of Kashubia, including the sector of social facilities: a wooden, seventeenth-century church, a school from the village of Więckowy, a smithy from Line, a sawmill from Staniszew and a smithy that create a picturesque image of the Kashubian village. In addition to a dozen or so peasant huts, the museum also has several noble manor houses, an inn and two windmill mills. The institution of the museum was founded in 1906 in a cottage purchased by the teacher of the local school, Izydor Gulgowski, and his wife, Teodora, who collected a collection of Kashubian props, paintings, furniture and household appliances.
